From the very first day of resumption, the atmosphere in school was filled with excitement, bright smiles, and eager footsteps as pupils settled back into learning. The sense of community was unmistakable teachers, parents, and our royals all shared in the joy of beginning a new academic journey together, one that quickly blossomed into a term rich with activities and memorable experiences.
One of the earliest highlights was the celebration of International Literacy Day. The school brimmed with creativity as pupils immersed themselves in books, storytelling, and lively reading sessions. Classrooms felt like vibrant story hubs, with children confidently presenting book reviews, dramatizing scenes, and celebrating the art of reading. The energy of the day sparked a renewed love for literature and encouraged even the quietest learners to find their voices.

Not long after, the school observed World Teachers’ Day, a truly touching moment in the term. The atmosphere was warm and sincere as the school community honored the dedication and commitment of the teaching staff, recognizing them as the pillars holding the academic and moral structure of Kingston Bridge School. The appreciation shown that day became one of the most emotional highlights of the term.
Rhyme Week brought a burst of rhythm, playfulness, and laughter. The younger royals took center stage, filling the school environment with poems, chants, creative performances, and melodious recitations. Their enthusiasm was contagious; parents and teachers watched in delight as the children showcased their growing confidence and expressive abilities. Each performance reflected not just fun, but also the steady progress the pupils were making in speech, coordination, and teamwork.

The school also proudly joined the global community in marking the International Day of the Girl Child. This special day emphasized empowerment, self-confidence, and the celebration of girls’ unique strengths. Inspiring conversations, interactive workshops, and reflective moments shaped the day’s activities. Both girls and boys participated in discussions centered on equality, respect, and leadership, reinforcing the school’s commitment to raising compassionate, informed, and forward-thinking young individuals.

Mathematics Quiz Day added a stimulating academic thrill to the term. The quiz hall was buzzing with excitement as the children competed in fast-paced rounds that tested their reasoning, accuracy, and teamwork. Spectators cheered enthusiastically, celebrating each correct answer and encouraging participants through tight battles. The day not only showcased sharp minds but also proved that mathematics can be engaging, dynamic, and full of friendly competition.

As the term progressed, World Science Week injected even more excitement into the school environment. Pupils presented science projects that highlighted curiosity, innovation, and hands-on learning. From simple experiments, the creativity and scientific thinking demonstrated were truly impressive. Teachers and the children enjoyed exploring the projects, asking questions, and celebrating the brilliance emerging from every corner of the school. Restore Foundation for Child Sight Initiative We are proud that our school was selected by the Restore Foundation for Child Sight, an NGO focused on children’s eye health. After initial staff training by the foundation, our team conducted an eye screening for all our royals. Children needing further evaluation were referred to specialists, and three learners received free eyeglasses. This initiative highlights our commitment to the health and well-being of our children.
